Founded in 1972, the school has just undergone a reduction in school accommodation to remove 150 surplus places. The school is situated to the north of Hull and pupils come from a broad social background. The school aims to provide broad and balanced curriculum. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. Extra-curricular subjects at the school include badminton, chess, football, French, guitar, netball, orchestra and recorder. The school aims to offer a happy, safe and secure environment in a family atmosphere.
