Kingswood High School is a county, comprehensive and co-educational day school for students aged 11-16. It was opened as a 'fresh start' school in 1999. The school is situated on the northern outskirts of Kingston upon Hull. Its sports facilities include a sports hall, gymnasium, multi-gym and exclusive playing fields. The school offers a wide range of activities in the lunch hour, after-school and at the weekends. These include various sports, art, pottery, chess, science, stitch, musical activities and computer club. Work related learning is provided to all students. Students have the opportunity to take part in projects involving local industry, community and business links. The school aims to create a happy and secure environment where each student is valued as an individual.
