Background:
Built in 1951, the school is sited on a ring road on the eastern side of the city in a 'spacious' building surrounded by gardens and a 'large' school field which is shared with the school next door. The school offers a number of extra-curricular activities including 'successful' football, mini-rugby and cricket teams and Year 6 pupils go on an annual exchange with Wilgenstam School in Rotterdam. The choir is well known in the area and has sung at the New Theatre in Hull, taking part in 'Joseph and his Amazing Technocolour Dreamcoat' in September 1999.
