Westfield Primary School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. Founded in 1970, the school consists of two semi-open plan buildings one of which accommodates juniors and Year 2 classes. There are many extra-curricular activities on offer including netball, recorder, choir, chess club and country dancing. Parents play an important role in the school, running a football team, helping in classrooms as well as organising fund raising and social events in the school association. The school aims to ensure that all its children are happy, fulfilled and challenged in a rich learning environment, which aims to cater for their individual needs and develop a love of learning.
