Hessle High School was founded in 1927; the school serves the community of Hessle and neighbouring areas. It is organised on two sites, Boothferry Road for Year 7 and Year 8 and Heads Lane for Years 9 to 13, where a Georgian mansion house forms part of the school buildings. The school enjoys extensive grounds. It has a proud tradition of academic, musical and sporting success. It has an extensive range of extra-curricular activities.
