Background:

Airmyn Park is a primary school that caters for children between the ages of four and 11. The catchment area of the school covers the whole of Airmyn village although children can be admitted from outside this area. The purpose built school can accommodate 105 pupils and is located off Park Road in Airmyn. The school moved to new premises in September 1991 and is well designed, suitably resourced, peaceful and spacious. The school building comprises four classrooms, a shared craft area, a computer suite, a library, an enclosed porch for activities for younger children, a school hall, staff room and administrative offices. On the school site we also have an enclosed natural pond area, woodland and large school field. A range of activities is available to the older children. Sports clubs are held several nights after school. The school takes part in various interschool sports activities during the year.
