Background:
Thoresby Primary School is a primary and nursery school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is three to 11. After-school sports clubs cater for basketball, soccer, rugby, cricket and others. The school has around 40 pupils receiving peripatetic instrumental tuition from the Kingston-upon-Hull music service peripatetic tutors, considerably more than its entitlement. The school aims to give its pupils the opportunities to develop the skills needed to take part successfully in a range of sports, including soccer, netball, basketball, cricket, cross-country running and rounders. The school aims to create an inclusive school community, which enables pupils to attain their own highest levels of achievement, and to make full use of potential and opportunities.
